| Bert will attempt to jump the chasm with a running start, activating Quickling Stride that will allow me to move 12 spaces. I am hoping to land in G-8, if I need to back up to get that running start then I will do it. Athletics is 10. If I make it, then I will mark Mezzo B and activate Crackling Burst (modifying it with my Feat to be burst 2) +9 vs. Fort. 1d8+3 Lighting damage, take additional damage if they move. Also Mezzo A should have taken 5 fire last turn for not attacking me. | |

| Good eye Umberto on Mezzodemon A being marked. Anyone, feel free to chime in whenever, even out of turn, if you see something we miss. Round 2 - Lozigee slides closer to the chasm, almost as if he was preparing to jump across next round (spoiler!) and uses Sly Flourish with his sling on mezzodemon B and connects (13+11=24 vs AC) for 12 points
- Althalus quickly draws two arrows to his bow and fires them both at Queen Shephatiah, hitting on the first (15+11=26 vs AC) and missing the second shot (6+11=17 vs AC) for a total of 7 points of damage (5+2=7)
- Queen Shephatiah tries to recharge the Thudnerstrike attack she did last round and fails. Instead she counters with Word of Pain against Bastion standing alone, attacking and hitting (16+17=34 vs Wil), dealing out 10 points of psychic damage and immobilizing him (save ends).
- Mezzodemons A stomps over a bit to get Bastion in the area of his blast 3 Poisons Breath attack, but the nimble elf is able to dodge it (3+12=15 vs Fort).
- Mezzodemons B tries to recharge Poison Breath but fails, he makes a couple of jabs towards Kregnok with his trident but even with reach 2, the dwarf is out of range.
- Kregnok delivers Lance on Faith on Mezzodemon B and hits (16+8=24 vs Fort) for 8 points of radiant damage (5+3=8 ) before moving forward.
- Grognak dashes forward and leaps over the chasm (4+12=16/5=3 squares) and lands next to the mezzodemon. The beast takes a swipe at Grognak (attack of opportunity) just missing him with his trident (5+12=17 vs AC). The barbarian gives off a battle cry that shakes the room and attacks (11+11=22 vs AC) just missing him, but still doing half damage of 14 points.
- Bastion morphs into wolf form and attacks with Swarming Locust at the closest Mezzeodemon and misses (8+8=16 vs Reflex), but I think the swarm is still there, and this still grants combat advantage to anyone attcking Mezzodemon A until the end of Blaine's next turn? Bastion makes his save vs Immobilization (11).
- Umberto side steps around Lozigee and sprints towards the chasm, easily leaping over it (11+10=21/5=4 squares) and lands in G8, marks Mezzodemon B, and kicks off Crackling Burst that hits Mezzeodemon A (15+9=24 vs Fort) but misses Mezzodemon B (6+9=15 vs Fort). Mezzodemon A takes 7 (4+3) points of lightning damage.
Round 3
- Lozigee takes a step back before running forward to leap the chasm and just barely makes it (6+10=16/5=3 squares) and lands in square G7. Since Grognak is adjacent to the target, Lozigee kicks in Clever Strike to gain combat advantage, and hits (17+11=28 vs AC) for a total of 10 points of damage (5+5) and 7 points of sneak attack (6+1=7) for a grand total of 17 points of damage to Mezzodemon B
- Althalus is up

| Round 3 - Lozigee takes a step back before running forward to leap the chasm and just barely makes it (6+10=16/5=3 squares) and lands in square G7. Since Grognak is adjacent to the target, Lozigee kicks in Clever Strike to gain combat advantage, and hits (17+11=28 vs AC) for a total of 10 points of damage (5+5) and 7 points of sneak attack (6+1=7) for a grand total of 17 points of damage to Mezzodemon B.
- Althalus slides along the back wall and fires two more shots at the Naga using Twin Strike, hitting Queen Shephatiah on the first (natural 20!), and then completely missing on the second shot (2+11=13 vs AC) for the max of 12 points of damage.
- Queen Shephatiah slithers off of the throne of dwarven skulls and movers to the back of the cavern. The naga again fails to recharge Thunderstrike, so she reverts back to Word of Pain on Umberto and hits despite the fact that he had some cover, he is hit (17+17=34 vs Wil) for a total of 12 points of psychic damage and the target is immobilized (save ends).
- Mezzodemon A fails to recharge Poison Breath, so he pulls out his trident (reach 2) and delivers a Skewering Tines attack at Umberto that just hits (11+14=25 vs AC) for 9 points of damage (5+4=9) and Umberto will take ongoing 5 damage and is restrained (save ends both) as the demon has Umberto (effectivly) pinned under his trident.
- Mezzodemon B does recharge Poison Breath and uses his close blast 3 attack to include Lozigee and Umberto, hitting the halfling (13+12=25 vs Fort) but just missing the president (4+12=16 vs Fort). Lozigee takes 7 points of poison damage and now suffers from ongoing 5 poison damage (save ends).

- From the rift you hear a combination of fire and wind, and up from the depths emerges a Firelasher! It lands on the south side of the chasm and engages Whirlwind Dash, moving up to twice its speed and rolling over the squares that Bastion, Althalus, and Kregnok occupy, all without provoking attacks of opportunity. Each of them take an automatic 10 points of fire damage before the Firelasher settles back in to place about where it started.

| Bastion will Wild Shape back in to human form (minor action) and take the option to shift 1 into space 6A, per the ability.
He will then cast Thorn Spray (standard action; close blast 5) into squares 6B-10B to 6F-10F effecting the Firelasher and Mezzodemon A. (Mezzodemon A is currently granting combat advantage until the end of my turn for being in the zone of Swarming Locusts from the previous round.) Attack: +8 vs Firelasher/+10 vs Mezzodemon A vs Fort Damage: 1d6+5 Effect: each target hit takes a -5 penalty to all defenses until the end of my next turn.
Bastion will then use Rodent's Agility (move action) to move through the Firelashers space with out provoking an opportunity attack and end his movement at 1B.
ACTION POINT! Bastion will use Second Wind (standard action) to regain 12 hit points and +2 to all defenses.

- Kregnok moves closer to the edge and kicks off Moment of Glory. It just does hit Mezzodemon B (11+8=19 vs Wil) so he is pushed back and knocked prone. Grognak, Kregnok, Umberto, and Lozigee all game resist 5 to all damage as long as Kregnok is able to maintain it.

- Bastion shape changes back into human form and casts Thorn Spray on the Firelasher and Mezzodemon A, missing the Firelasher (4+8=12 vs Fort) but hitting Mezzodemon A (14+10=24 vs Fort), delivering max damage (6+5=11 points of damage). Bastion engages Rodent's Agility and ends up back near the entrance where he uses an action point and second wind.
- Umberto, stranded in his square, uses Lightning Lure on Mezzodemon A but misses (6+9=16 vs Fort -- this includes the -5 penalty from Bastion), he then uses the Amulet of False Life to give him 17 temporary hit points. Umberto makes his save against being restrained (14-1=13), and makes his save vs being Immbobilized (15-1=14).
Round 4 - Lozigee darts around the pillar in the middle of the chamber and moves into a near flanking position on Mezzodemon B and kicks in Clever Strike and hits (19+11=30 vs AC) for max damage (6+5=11) and since Grognak is adjacent to the target as well, Lozigee gets sneak attack damage of max damage again (8+8=16) for a grand total of 27 points of damage! Fittingly, Lozigee fails his save after rolling a 1, (but the DM nearly rolled max on four straight rolls).
- Althalus is up

| Round 4 - Lozigee darts around the pillar in the middle of the chamber and moves into a near flanking position on Mezzodemon B and kicks in Clever Strike and hits (19+11=30 vs AC) for max damage (6+5=11) and since Grognak is adjacent to the target as well, Lozigee gets sneak attack damage of max damage again (8+8=16) for a grand total of 27 points of damage! Fittingly, Lozigee fails his save after rolling a 1, (but the DM nearly rolled max on four straight rolls).
- Althalus steps back, makes the Firelasher his quarry, and fires two shots at the elemental beast, hitting on the first (15+12=27 vs AC) and again on the second shot (16+12=28 vs AC) for 9 points and 7 points for a grand total of 16 points.
- Shephatiah again fails to recharge Thunderstrike so instead she reverts back to Word of Pain this time on Lozigee and hits (18+17=35 vs Will) and the halfling takes 9 points of psychic damage (actually only 4 points thanks to Kregnok) and is immbobilized.
- Mezzodemon A stabs at Umberto (reach 2) with his Skewering Tines attack and hits (16+14=30 vs AC) for 12 points of damage (actually only 7 thanks to Kregnok - and that comes off his temporary hit points). Umberto also takes ongoing 5 damage from this and is restrained as he is pinned under the demon's trident.
- Mezzodemon B sees that the barbarian and rogue are trying to flank him so he wisely moves into a corner and attacks the barbarian with Skewering Tines and hits (15+14=29 vs AC) for 8 points of damage (actually only 3 thanks to Kregnok). Grognak also takes ongoing 5 damage from this and is restrained as he is pinned under the demon's trident. If I read that correctly, Mezzodemon B is still technically marked by Umberto and thus takes 5 more points of damage.
- Kregnok is up

| Kregnok will move to D-5 and use Healing Strike on the Lasher.
+9 to hit, 2d10+6 points of damage, if it hits Umberto can spend a healing surge. If Umberto spends a healing surge I regain 3 hit points.
Sustain "Moment of Glory" as a minor, damage resistance continues.

- Kregnok steps up and delivers Healing Strike on the Firelasher, but misses (4+9=13 vs ??? <-- I don't know what it was against, but that is a miss either way) I looked it up, it's vs AC, and here is the description:
Hit: 2[W] + Strength modifier radiant damage, and the target is marked until the end of your next turn. In addition, you or one ally within 5 squares of you can spend a healing surge.
So, I'm thinking that the healing goes off regardless of the hit or miss on the creature? So, assuming that, Umberto spends a healing surge (17 points) and Kregnok gains three points as well. Kregnok contines Moment of Glory so the resist 5 is still up for those who have it.
- Grognak is up, I just added 3 HPs from his regen 3, but he is restrained still
Restrained
- You grant combat advantage
- You're immobilized
- You can't be forced to move by a pull, push, or a slide
- You take a -2 penalty to attack rolls
Immobilized
- You can't move from your space. although you can teleport and can be force to move by a pull, push, or slide

| For the sake of honesty and less confusion later, Bastion and Umberto both have one less healing surge than noted currently on the table. Bastion is less one because of his Second Wind and Umberto is less one from Kregnok's Healing Strike. Their HP totals are correct though. | |

- Grognak is up, I just added 3 HPs from his regen 3, but he is restrained still. Since he has no ranged weapons, Grognak is going to go with total defense (+2 to all defenses) and make his save, which he does (10).
- The Firelasher fails to recharge Whirlwind Dash, and instead he will attack with Wildfire Cyclone, which is a close burst 2 attacking Kregnok and hitting (12+14=26 vs Reflex) and hitting Althalus as well (19+14=33 vs Reflex). The damage for both is 10 points of fire damage (Kregnok takes only 5) and the targets are pushed 1 square and knocked prone. Being a dwarf, Kregnok is not push any squares and makes a save vs being knocked prone, which he makes (16).
Immobilized

| Bastion will cast Faerie Fire (standard action; area blast 1 within 10) and 'center' it on Mezzodemon A (still -5 to all defenses until the end of my turn). Attack: +8 (+13 because of -5 to defenses) vs Will Hit: Target is slowed and grants combat advantage (save ends both). Aftereffect/after save: 3d6 + 4 radiant dmg and target grants combat advantage until the end of my next turn. If I miss, use Eleven Accuracy and reroll the attack. If both rolls miss... Miss: 1d6 + 4 radiant dmg and target grants combat advantage until the end of my next turn.
Bastion will then run to 3F and attempt to jump to 5H (move action; Athletics + 2).
If the jump is successful, Bastion will end his turn by using Wild Shape (minor action) to change in to wolf form.
