Marpenoth 7th – 10th Back to Overlook

The heroes investigated the disappearance of Marina and learned that the Lost Ones had heard that she was in Overlook looking for the heroes and abducted her to use as bait.

While they were looking for her they came across a peculiar individual named Gilgathorn. An elf with an ey-patch and a slew of weapons strapped to his back, warned the heroes that they had a bounty placed on their heads. He seemed to know a good deal of information on them as well.

The trap was set in the former Temple of Pelor where the Lost Ones laid in wait. The heroes proved valiant and not only rescued their colleague but dealt a significant blow to the Lost Ones.

Marina had memorized this message to the heroes:

“Greetings from Evans Barksdale, interim president of Rock Hammer Valley. I beseech you to return to Rock Hammer with all haste, as your presence is needed here. The matter concerns one of the relics that you recovered while saving the captives in Rivenroar, and is most urgent.”

The heroes set out the following morning back to Rock Hammer.
