Knights of the Silver - The Knights in Silver are the permanent guardians of Silverymoon, often encountered riding patrol within the city and its environs. Around seven hundred strong, they received their name from a ballad penned by Mintiper Moonsilver - as with many phrases around the Realms first spoken by the Lunargent Bard, the name simply "seemed right."

The Knights in Silver are known for their sparkling armor, firm discipline on and off the field of battle, and their poise and decorum. The Knights in Silver are practically a fairy-tale army, with their reputation for being dashing, chivalrous men and witty, beautiful women. Though certain individuals do not always uphold this lofty reputation, as a whole the Knights take pride in it and there is strong pressure from within the ranks to maintain this image.

Kevian Droverson - Mayor of Temel to the south.

Asked for and received permission to bring many of the locals from Temel to the Mid Summer festivities at Rockhammer Hold. (Flamerule 25th)

Ripped Guts Tribe - One of two major orc tribes to inhabit the Nether Mountains, the others being the Thousand Fists. The two tribes have fought viciously over the Moon Pass until a recent and uneast truce came about.

Hill giants Cave - Althalus spotted this cave between Kythorn 3rd and 8th. On Flamerule 5th, Panian discovered a 4th hill giant that had join. On Flamerule 12th, Althalus and Panian saw three of them snooping around the former Bugbear Camp.

Bugbear Camp - First spotted by Althalus between the 3rd and 8th of Kythorn, these bugbears were witnessed to partaking in several ambushes along Everlund Pass over the next few weeks. Umberto convinced the Goblin Raiders to attack the Bugbears and they were thwarted in thier attempt on Kythorn 30th. In a joint effort between Captain Aito's patrol and NPCs sent from Rockhammer (led by Kelser), all of the bugbears were eliminated on Flamerule 6th.

Goblin Raider Lair - First discovered between the 3rd and 8th of Kythorn by Althalus and Bastion. Umberto, along with K'Gorsz and Gravaar, visited the lair between Kythorn 25th and 30th to incite them to attack the bugbear camp. With the agreement that Umberto and friends will help (lie) and the promise of all the gold, the goblins agreed. The attack (Kythorn 30th) failed and pretty much wiped out the Goblin Raiders.

Dekanter Golbins - Althalus spotted them between the 3rd and 8th of Kythorn. Things appear unchanged from before but now on Flamerule the 7th you do get the impression that their might be more of them than you previously thought. Also, since you know this cave descends deep into the earth, you wonder who or what is really in control. They do seem very organized for goblins. They haven’t seemed to stir up any trouble with the locals..

Fey’ri Ruins - Betweeen the 3rd and 9th of Flamerule Althalus came across this camp of Fey'ri (similar to tiefling but from a demon/elf union). Althalus got the impression that a good number of them lived here.

The Hermit - Althalus visited the Hermit around the 6th of Flamerule and again on the 13th with Panian. The Hermit is an old druid that has lived in these Nether Mountains for years and knows a good deal of what goes on in these parts.

Offered to work in an information sharing capacity with the PCs of Rockhammer Hold (Flamerule 31st)

Thousand Fists Orcs - In addition to the Ripped Guts Tribe, the Thousand Fists Orcs are the other major tribe of orcs in these Nether Mountains. The Thousand Fists Orcs and the Ripped Guts Orcs recently stopped fighting each other over control of the Moon Pass. After a visit from someone from the Hellgate Keep region, they have ended their hostilities toward each other

Lady's Hand Monastery - The monks of the Lady’s Hand Monastery (30 miles southeast of Rockhammer Hold, high up in the mountains) earned a dark name in these lands as travelers along the nearby roads sometimes disappeared in the vicinity. A few months ago, an attack initiated by the Morueme clan of blue dragons with the aid of their slave hobgoblins. Terrible battle, but the followers of Loviatar held them off with Netherese weapons. The hobgoblin NPC Rez'Gyrk was one of the slave hobgoblins in this attack.

Southern Goblin Lair - Discovered around the 6th of Flamerule by Althalus. This lair seemed similar to the Goblin Raider's lair north of Rockhammer Hold, but this one included more women and children.

Captain Aito - One of three leaders of patrols that travel from Silverymoon to Cholnudon and back, and the only one that currently stops at Rockhammer Hold (instead of Temel) and spends the night. Lead a beefed up patrol to eradicate the Bugbear camp to the south and joined forces with Rockhammer Hold to finish them off (Kythorn 30th). Captian Aito has been a friend to the Hold since. Returned on Flamerule 22nd with orders to bring the prisoner Thar Grim-Rule from Temel back to Silverymoon. It was while at the Stone's Throw temporary bar did Aito learn of the events that led to the release of Thar. Aito understood what the PCs had to do and dispatched a rider back to Silverymoon to tell High Lady Alustriel what happened.

Red Wizards of Thay Enclave - An outpost north of Wageton that originally had concerned councilman Cato June of Wageton. Melisi and Umberto, on seperate occasions, visited the enclave and Melisi sold some of her scrolls there. Around the 7th of Flamerule, Panian led an NPC group to discover the whereabouts of two loggers from Wageton. Eventually the trail led to the Red Wizard's enclave and a female wizard (Kizzaf) was arrested when it was discovered she was working with a slave trader.

Hinnar - Leader of the Red Wizard's of Thay's enclave north of Wageton. They sell scrolls and potions at a discount and she is trying very hard to seperate negative feelings toward Thayian merchants/wizards. Hinnar was very thankful for the PCs efforts to help clean up her enclave and personally turned the rogue wizard Kizzaf over to authorities in Wageton.

Asked to work with the group on their next heroic adventure (Flamerule 31st)

Cato June - Councilman of Wageton and friend to the people of Rockhamer Hold. First became friends of Umberto when he first came to Wageton. Later, Cato June contacted Umberto with a call for help to discover the fate of the two missing loggers. Recently, Cato June talked to Umberto about the possibility of Rockhammer Hold setting up thier own shop in Wageton and talked them into hiring his nephew, Jeffrey Samuel, to work the store.

Dreadloard Holt Burukhan - Arrived at Rockhammer Hold as a mysterious, very injured, knight. Nurse back to health and while repairing his armor, Kregnok noticed the symbol of Bane on the breastplate. Apparently work out a deal with the half-orc rogue Syvgar to join him later when his new base was established in the Nether Mountains. Syvgar, retained by the group, offered to spy on him.

Little else is known about him except for the fact that he had a base in Sundabar and was recently on the run from a Paladin named Horace.

Flamerule 31st - The Hermit learned that he was a pretty high up in the Banite (church of Bane) in Sundabar but their secret temple was raided. He escaped and he has no doubt that he will attempt to rebuild the church in these mountains.

Elesasis 2nd - through rumblings they heard throughout the adventure, and then confirmed at its end through a conversation with the "ghost" of King Theron, Dreadlord Holt Burukhan was behind the incursion into the Barrow of the Forgotten King in the town on Wageton. Xeron, the end boss of this adventure, was working for the Dreadlord to retrieve anicent magical items from its tomb.

Lathkiera Morlund - Defender of of Justice,- the person in charge of the Hall of Everlasting Justice in Sundabar. The temple to Tyr and Torm is a fortress-like building. The clerics serve with the Shieldsar, providing healing and battle-magic for the soldiers of Sundabar. Morlund is known as 'Lady Stone' locally for her cold, bitter manner. Introduce to the PCs by Cato June on Shieldmeet to discuss a trade agreement for stone from Rockhammer Hold.

Horace Danim, Champion of Tyr - high ranking paladin working for Lathkiera Morlund at the Hall of Justice in Sundabar. Has been on the tail of Dreadlord Holt Burukhan for weeks now and lost the trail somewhere in the western Nether Mountains. Was mentioned by Burukhan when he was under the care of Rockhammer Hold. He seemed fearful of Horace catching him. Met the PCs with Lathkiera Morlund on Shieldmeet. Later you learned from Hinar of the Red Wizards that Horace had been by recently in search of the Black Knight.
