D&D Next Playtest #2

Lords!

Our next session is going to be using the D&D Next Playtest material for Phase 2, which you can download here. http://dndplaytest.wizards.com/

The Playtest material comes with stuff to create your own character, or you can use one of the pre-generated one. Those pre-gens include:

• Dwarf Fighter (Background: Soldier, Specialty: Guardian)
  
• Elf Wizard (Background: Sage, Specialty: Magic User)
  
• Halfling Rogue (Background: Artisan/Cook, Specialty: Lurker)
  
• Human Cleric (Background: Priest, Specialty: Acolyte)
  
• Human Fighter (Background: Bounty Hunter, Specialy: Archer)
  

The pre-gen characters are already equiped and have spells printed on thier sheets (if they cast spells). If you create your own character, you'll have to dig up the spells from the playtest as well.

Ok, I think this is where we are with classes so far:

Jordan - human fighter archer
Blaine - halfling rogue
Lou - human cleric
Wil -
MF -

Also, there are updates to the playtest #2 material. They have now included two classes (sorcerer and warlock). They are in the same PDF file as the others, but it is labeled as 8-13 instead. Also, they included an adventure that I'll probably use instead of converting an old one.

I'm going to go with a warlock or sorceror... guess that makes MF the dwarf fighter.
