Rule of Three - List of PCs

Let's start getting our PCs/classes/adventuring groups organized here. Post up what you think you might want to play for the higher adventuring group, the lower adventuring group, and your non-adventurer's occupation. For "Role" that would be like "Striker", "Leader", "Controller", etc. Copy and past the stuff below and let everyone know what you are playing! Feel free to Lou your mind, er, I mean change your mind later. I just wanted to get this started so we don't end up with too many strikers and not enough defenders.

I just finished up Geoff's second characters, so here is another update with both of his characters included:

Main character is Dokanor J'Effarold a Goliath fighter (defender) who has lived in the city of Rock Hammer in the Temel Ward since he was found and placed in an orphanage at the age of five. Had many run-ins with the City Guard as a youth and he was a target because of his size (7'4").

Secondary character is Denat "Duskwalker", a human assassin (striker) who was also an orphan. Younger than Dokanor, Denat befriended the giant when no one else would and the two quickly became friends.

Non-adventuring character is Aldi Averson, owner of the Red Tankard and friend of all in the Temel Ward. He is a great source of information and kinda took the two orphans in under his wings, trying to keep them out of trouble from the City Guard, and finding people to teach them skills to become successful adventurers.

I took a look at MF's high group character on the character builder and he is playing Lendri, a halfling fighter (striker)

Main character is Xune D'Arqdae (Drow) an Avenger (striker) following the faith of Sehanine. She and her companions are recent arrivals to Rock Hammer. Xune, until recently, was a 4th generation refugee from the Underdark that grew up in Silverymoon...a member of the church from birth. Her faith, combat abilities, and last name made her a perfect choice to accompany a priestess/missionary of Sehanine to Rock Hammer.

Secondary character is Dende, a Kalashtar Cleric (leader) of Sehanine. As far as he and anyone in Silverymoon is aware, there is know one else like him through out Luruar. Xune found Dende passed out, wearing odd clothing in one of the many dark alleys of Silverymoon about 3 years ago. She assisted him with his assimilation into the culture of Silverymoon and joining of the church. The years have brought them closer and closer through faith and love. They are bound deeply but differ in that Dende is a strong proponent of pacifism...represented by his amazing skills with the healing arts. Xune would not have left Dende behind and thus he was released from his duties in Silverymoon to accompany her to Rock Hammer.

Non-adventuring character is C'nedra Auril, an elf priestess/missionary of Sehanine. She was not born in Silverymoon but was raised there by her widowed mother and the Church of Sehanine. She is young (my elven standards) but is well spoken and strong in her faith. She was sent to Rock Hammer to strengthen the bond between the whorshipers of Selune and Sehanine, in that ever increasing community. As her gaurdians, believers, and friends, the couple, Xune and Dende, have accompanied C'nedra to Rock Hammer.

An elderly half-orc leans on his staff as he nods his head to people who see him on the streets of the Lower Wards. Un'goro Trollsblood's family has been in Rockhammer for years. Great-grandson of Gravaar,the first orc of Rockhammer, Un'goro Trollsblood has recently made quite a stir in the Lower Wards, leading a mostly peaceful demonstrations for the equal treatment of monstrous and demi-humans in Rockhammer. Though he has recently entered his elder years, this Druid of Mountain has the same ferocity of his bear companion that suns himself in the city lawns. Un'goro is my main character.

Ilthana Lunini the half-elf is the ill-begotten daughter of the lout of grandson, Aidan Lunini (grandson of Umberto Lunini). She has spent her early years in Silverymoon with her mother Maya Bowleaf. Maya Bowleaf was sullen adventurer who had a drunken fling with Aidan. She had Ilthana in Silverymoon. After Maya was killed during a campaign, Ilthana was sent to Rockhammer to live with her father in the Lower Ward. It was there that Ilthana met and adored Ungoro. She answered the call of his father to rally against the Son's of Temel and racist factions. Ilthana is Scout (ranger) and my second character.

The Order of the Shining Fist was established by Umberto Lunini, to promote the ways of tolerance, the power of the mind and mysterious and powerful martial arts of the east. This ancient monk was named Feng-Jiu. He took over the monastery when Delek passed away and followed in the spirit of the Lunini family, who was known for their diplomacy between the monstrous and non-monstrous humanoids. Ungoro spent a goodly amount of time listening to the stories of Feng-Jiu, meditating in the shrine in the wilderness outside of Rockhammer. It was in the cool alpine glade that Ungoro was first visited by the Ursine visage. Feng-Jiu, the caretaker of the Monastery of the Shining Fist is my Non-adventuring character.

Main Character:

Baern Coldforge is a direct decendant of Kregnok, and as such was raised to eventually take over the leadership of the Coldforge clan. Baern had slightly different ideas growing up, fascinated as he was with the tales of his ancestor's adventuring days. Baern discovered his talents for leading at an early age, when learning the arts of stonecraft, mining, and gemcraft he rallied clanworkers to his side to call for less hours in the mines, and more hours in the pub. He failed, of course, but his parents were impressed enough with his resolve and furious enough with his attitude that they enrolled him the fighter's guild, hoping to see either enough sense knocked into him or enough training to back up his youthful ambition. Baern developed as a natural warlord, but preferred to command through a mixture of passion and a "whatever it takes" attitude rather than historical study of tactics and planning. Baern is close friends with Torin and an "Uncle" to Keira.

Second Character:

Keira Dusktooth was discovered by Torin Stronghammer hiding in the Stronghammer Smithy. She was five years old at the time, and was apparently orphaned. The child, dressed in rags, had a single possession, a simple chain bearing a pendant of dark metal wrought in the shape of a fang, enscribed on the reverse with the name "Keira." The dwarf smith threw her out of the smithy almost every day for a month before relenting, citing her "stone-blessed stubbornness" and allowing her to live in the smithy and putting her to work with simple tasks. Over the years Torin grew fond of "his dwarf-stubborn, stone-addled, forge urchin" and grew to consider her his adopted child. The relationship strengthened over the coming years, until Torin entered the smithy and discovered Keira in an apparent trance, with magical frost surrounding her and the fires of the forge all but snuffed. Torin battled the intense cold to her side, and revived her. Startled at her inate abilities, Torin consulted the Arcane Academy, and Keira was accepted for training.

Non-adventuring Character:

Torin Stronghammer is the twin brother to Baern Coldforge in all but blood and clan. Torin and Baern became fast friends early in their youth, and were nigh inseperable until duty and tradition (and some clan politics) forced Torin to accept his mantle as smith. Torin's skills as smith matured quickly, and he was soon recognized as one of Stronghammer's finest. He despairs at the rift that has developed between Clan Coldforge and Clan Stronghammer, and shares his concerns regularly with Baern. His discovery and "adoption" of Keira, and his sponsorship of her time at the Arcan Academy have devoted his time and energy, however, and he is not inclined whatsoever to engage in the Clan politics that have fueled the separation of the two Clans. Aren Stronghammer and Immur Coldforge have commented before that Torin and Baern are much like Dom and Kregnok, although they would never admit that to each other.

Main Character: Logan The Huge a direct descendant of Grognak. Logan's father. Galward Longfang , is the current chief of the Red Tiger tribe and his uncle Adarc is one of the proprietors of Nok and Nak's Brewery. Like all Red Tiger barbarians that have reached maturity Logan (and his bound servent Carlos) set out on a pilgrimage to the "civilized" world. During his travels Logan fell in with some followers of the Red Knight and was converted to their faith. While traveling with the Red Knight disciples Logan began studying the ways of a paladin. Logan found the dogma and ritual surrounding the paladins to be tedious and found that he could relate to the cavaliers and their code of honor. Logan began to follow the ways of a cavalier bound to honor his ancestors both inside and outside of battle. After Logan had learned all that he could of the cavalier ways he continued his pilgrimage and his next stop would be Rock Hammer.

Secondary Character: Carlos The Dwarf was found by members of the red tiger tribe as a baby in the smoldering remains of a ransacked trade caravan. The barbarians brought the infant dwarf to Galward Longfang the leader of the tribe. Galward Longfang, remembering the tales of the friendship of Grognak and Kregnok, decided to bring the dwarf into his household. Carlos was raised as the personal slave of Galward Longfang's son Logan The Huge. Carlos, being the only dwarf in the Red Tiger Tribe was commonly referred to as nothing more than "the dwarf". Despite having the title of slave Carlos was raised as one of the Chiefs own and received all of the training and instuction required of a young barbarian. When the time came for Logan's Pilgrimage Carlos never questioned accompanying his master. During their travels Carlos also found comfort in the teachings of the Red Knight, but upon discovering some minor magic abilities Carlos decided to learn the ways of a sword mage. Logan never considered Carlos anything less than a brother and did not think twice about parting ways with his slave in order for Carlos to continue to learn the ways of a sword mage. Logan vowed to wait for Carlos in RockHammer where they could trade tales and empty flagons of the famed Bare-back Dragon Stout.

Non-Adventuring Character: Talain Warhaven is a retired general, formerly with the Purple Dragons in Cormyr. Being a follower of the Red Knight, Talain after taking an early retirement, travel the lands to teach others the fine craft of battlefield tactics. Talain was fortunate to be sent to a military academy at a young age and wish to part with that wisdom to others not as fortunate as he. During his travels he ran into Logan and Carlos while fighting orcs, and immediately took them under his wing to teach them. Logan and Carlos were already embarking on their pilgrimage to Rock Hammer, so Talain decided to settle down for a bit to continue their teachings and perhaps open a school in this new city.

Just a heads up guys Carlos the dwarf is no longer a swordmage (defender) he is a wizard (controller) so there you go putos
