Skeleton Wolf A lashes out at Vadania and misses. Wolf B lunges at Kelser and sinks its boney fangs into the barbarian’s thigh, causing him to yell with pain.

Vadania casts a spell and a dire rat appears behind skeleton wolf A and takes a bite at him, taking a small bite out with its teeth

Round Two

Kelser’s greatclub comes crashing down on wolf skeleton B again and shards of bone erupt violently from the former threat. In one fluid motion, Kelser continues his swing (cleave) and just misses wolf skeleton A.

As the dire rat winks out of existence. you can hear some sort of commotion coming from the room beyond.

Done guard for both of us, waiting to move in.

Skeleton wolf A lashes out at Vadania again and misses. Vadania slides over to the corner to allow the monk to move in the room. While she does, she thrusts with her scimitar and misses.

Umberto is up

The monk finally moves into the room to give the wolf skellie a smack in the head!

Umberto enters the fray and steps in and kick to the head, rattling his skulls for a moment.

Tatyl finishes off the round by done/guarding.

Round 3

Kelser’s greatclub comes smashing down on the last wolf skeleton, completely obliterating it in the process.

Movement in the form of a scrapping noise comes from the next room. Again. You’ll have to enter single file to get in, but you could use our new ‘Busting In” maneuver and get three of you in immediately. We are out on initiative for now

Aye, Kelser, Umberto, and I could "bust in" to the next room. What say ye lads?

Like trained professionals, the three of you bust into the room, and are quite shocked to see what is there to greet you.

Stomping around in this room is an ogre-zombie. It sees you and moves to attack position.

Round One
Kelser’s eyes widen at the challenge and give his battle-cry, “By Uthgardt strength!” The barbarian delivers what would normally be a bone-shattering blow, but still the beast stands.

Umberto is up.

Umberto moves to K9 (funny) and tries to deliver a swift punch to the beasts rotting knee.

Umberto steps up a delivers a round-house kick, but gets nothing up air.

Althalus moves to I10 and looses an arrow.

Althalus slides into the a fires an arrow at the ogre-zombie, nailing it right in the chest, staggering the beast for a moment (max damage).

Kregnok is up.

Kregnok will swing at the beast... "By Moradin's Hammer!!!"

Kregnok raises his heavy mace and brings it down on the beast’s shoulder, but still the ogre/zombie continues to fight.

Tatyl quickly and bravely dashes into the room and casts a spell. Flames emerge from her hands and burn the beast pretty good.

Vadania slips into the hallway and casts a touch spell on Kregnok. A shimmering, magical field envelopes the dwarf.

Now, the moment you’ve all been waiting for. The ogre-zombie takes a slam attack against Kregnok, his massive arms come crashing down, just missing the dwarf (thanks to the shield of faith from Vadania).

Round Two

Kelser swings again with his greatclub, and in his rage, misses the target.

FISTS OF FURY!! (Let's try a flurry of blows)

The monk unleashes two deadly attacks, but they both miss (which is amazing considering how big the creature is and how small the room is).

Althalus & Kregnok are up.

Kregnok will hurl another Dwarvish curse and swing.

Kregnok whirls his heavy mace overhead and it comes crashing down on the ogre-zombie.

The ogre-zombie is now ‘orange’, and you can see that I haven’t updated the pic yet.

Althalus is up.

Althalus takes careful aim and looses another arrow.

Althalus fires another arrow into the melee and again it strikes home, now the beast is in the ‘red’.

Tatyl takes a step back to fire her crossbow, and misses.

Vadania is forced to done/guard.

The ogre-zombie raises his fists and they come crashing down on the dwarf, nearly crushing him to floor. Kregnok screams in intense pain, but barely remains on his feet.

Round Three

Kelser, sensing the desperation, whacks the creature one last time, dropping him for good.

Vadania rushes over to the dwarf and casts cure light wounds, bringing him to ‘orange’.

Kelser takes a quick peek out the door while Vadania and Tatyl make a quick search of the room.

“I think we are safe for now,” exclaims a near exhausted Kelser.

“We should consider resting here for a bit,” says Vadania, “I know I am nearly out of spells and I’m sure Tatyl feels the same. What do you think? Should we press on?”

Umberto looks over the area, searching for any goodies. " I think a bit of a rest would do us good. Casters without spells does no one any good."

*will cast cure light wounds on himself*

I agree. Could use a bit of a break meself, if it's all the same.

Kregnok will use any remaining spells to heal those who need it.

How many spells do you have left, the DM ain't keeping track.

Vadania has no more healing spells (a druid's spontaneous spells convert to summon nature's ally)

Should be 2 cure lights and 2 cure minors to divy out.

I will give Kelser another cure light, and a cure minor to Vadania and Tatyll, the last Cure light to myself
