• Umberto makes a quick attack on the cockroach and ducks away. Alas, the monk missed his target, but did get away.
  
  
• Otihand does a double move and comes charging up on cockroach C.

• Senesus fires two arrows between the dwarf and Hasimir, and one of them finds its target and drops it into the yellow.
  
  
• Cockroach B emits a foul stench and everyone (except Althalus) has to make a fortitude save. The following people failed: Hasimir, Otihand, and Tian.

Those that are nauseated are unable to attack, cast spells, concentrate on spells, or do anything else requiring attention. The only action such a character can take is a single move action per turn. The effects of this will last 1d4 rounds.

• Finding the monk delicious, cockroach D takes a step toward to bite Umberto but misses.
  
  
• Cockroach C bites at the nauseated Hasimir and takes a chunk out of him, dropping him to yellow.

The monk will move to the fey'ri, using some tumbling techs to get past the roach and slap some healing herbs on the dieing humaniod

• The monk nimbly dives across the room to the dying fey’ri. You seem to ease his pains a bit, but the blood is still seeping through his fingers. You feel that he doesn’t have much time left.
  
  
• Otihand swing and connects with cockroach C and finishes him off before taking a couple of steps toward the last cockroach.

• Senesus fires two more shots from her bow and both are true, and it drops the bug immediately down to yellow.

The cockroach shrieks in pain as both arrows are true, before it burrows into a small hole and is gone forever.

Battle over!

You all rush towards the fey’ri and Umberto to check on the situation while keeping a close eye on the far passage where the drow exited. Umberto frantically tries to safe the fey’ri but from the look on the monk’s face, you can tell you won’t be able to save him.

Any questions for him before he bleeds out?

Not even a cure light wounds'll do the trick, eh? Kregnok will attempt to ease the passage, and ask why the drow want behind the wall so badly.

His eyes are starting to roll back into his head as you get to him, and he struggles to focus on you as blood continues to seep through his fingers clenched around his throat.

"Niadirem....looking.....for this one....orc....I saw....him......here."

Orc or half-orc lad? Could you tell??

His eyes start to glaze over for a moment as he struggles to answer, "Orc.....missing....Niadirem furious.....looking for this orc."

Looks at the dieing fey'ri with sadness, "If there anything else, you tell us please do, otherwise I am sorry we couldn't save you, but I hope to make your sacrifice worthwhile."

The Fey'ri laughs and blood spews from his mouth, "Niadirem does not....does not know we have....a runestone.....in my village.....much closer......only way to open wall."

Where is your village, can we get to it before the dark elf?

"The dark elf....Niadirem....returns to Szith......one day away. My village.....is just....a few hours.....from here......but....we are slaves......to the drow.....not many guard us......free my people......tell them Rajik sent you. Down that runnel......left, left, left, then right."

His eyes flutter for a moment before he dies.

" I can only guess at the problems not stopping the drow will cause. I know we are on our way to help the hermit, but we must help these slaves. Anyone disagree? We do get to slay some drow, that should make the dwarf and the elves happy."

Aye, but the problem with killin' drow is they always seem to come back. Kinda like bad toenail fungus, eh? Still, the more allies we can make in this, the better off will be. Let's get to this village. Should we bring the body? If not, I'll say a few words.

"I say we take the body. Nobody should be left to rot down here, no matter what words are said."

You wrap up the body of the fey-ri as best you can (Fey’ri, by the way, are a cross between demons and elves, like tieflings are a cross between demons and humans. Or is it devils? Anyways…) and head down the same passage that Niadirem and the rest of the drow took.

A hour or so later you come to a fork in the underground tunnels and head to the left. You keep following the tunnels as per the Fey’ri’s directions and find the tunnels getting smaller and smaller.

Hasimir quiets you all down as he hears someone approaching from ahead. You all take a quick look around at the decent sized cavern you have entered and find suitable spots to hide.

The first thing you hear is humming with the occasional bit of a song. You strain to hear the words as they echo off the cavern walls but you can’t make it out. You also hear what sounds like wheels rolling over stone.

The sound grows closer and finally is inside the cavern you are in. Carefully you peer around your rock to see a short humanoid pulling a cart full of stuff. He is bald with the skin tone of stone. His large grey eyes peer around the cavern.

“Who there? Trade? Yes? Trader Tol here, lot’s of goddies! Here to trade?”
