You all take a few cautious steps away from the man on the throne, while he stares off into the distance.

Umberto finds a secret door on E 11&12.

The man on the throne starts to stir...

The monk stops what he is doing and looks at his compatriots, giving a, 'what the hell should we do' look.

Through the secret door or confront the man on the throne, those are the group's options.

Secret door! Secret door!

Secret door it is!

A tight stairway descends to a landing below. Between sharp ringing reports that must be metal tool against stone, you hear shouting in a guttural tongue. "Faster, you idiot! Faster!"

"Prepare yourselves friends," the monk whispers as he edges forward to the sounds.

"It seems we have found the tomb robbers," Umberto whispers. Let us get the drop on them by trying move silently behind them.

Two more thoughtlessly opened sarcophagi occupy the eastern portion of the room. Here also, swinging a pick at the floor is a male hobgoblin (Jr), his black hair shorn close to the scalp. Behind him kneals a nimble half-orc (Sv) with a bucket of earth that he pulls forth from the floor. Nearby stands a slight but imposing man (Xr) in rich violet robes, reptilian scales on his forehead and bald pate, as well as his bright yellow eyes, marking him as not quite human. He leans wearily on an ornate spear.

"Fools!" he sputters. "You'll ruin everything!"

Xeron - Reaches into his pouch and throws a small item towards you. It shatters on impact and in a puff of smoke appears a Nagatha.

Nagatha - lashes out at the barbarian with two claw attacks, missing on the first but hitting on the second for minimal damage. It attempts a bite attack as well, but misses.

Umberto is up!

I am assuming the Nagatha is in square D5, if so I will move to D4 and take a move to D4 and flurry of blows.

You are correct (Nagatha D5), I got halfway done through the picture and didn't finish it.

Umberto - throws two quick punches on the nagatha, missing on the first and connecting on the second for a fair amount of damage.

Kelser - Hefts his greatclub and smacks the nagatha, dealing out a very good amount of damage.

Tatyl - Reaches past the statue and casts true stike on Althalus.

Althalus is up!

Althalus, feeling as though he could do no wrong, will thread the needle and put an arrow into Xeron!

Althalus - draws back his bow and fires, it sails right past the statue and hit Xeron in the chest, dropping him to "lime".

Half-Orc - Drops the bucket and draws forth his short sword. Then his jaw hits the ground. It's Syvgar. Xeron snears, "Attack you fool!" Syvgar moves into position to attack Umberto.

Kregnok is up!

Cast Bless on the defensive

Kregnok - casts bless on everyone, giving you all +1 to hit and +1 vs. fear. Try and give me a heads up when you all attack in case I forget.

Leera - begins to sing. Her voice cracks a few times as she begins, but gains confidence as she goes on. You all feel inspired and gain another +1 to hit and +1 vs. fear (for a total of +2 and +2).

Jeroog - drops his pickaxe and draws his greataxe and charges into combat.

Xeron - casts fear on Kelser, which he save on easily.

Nagatha - slashes and hits Kelser once and then sinks its fangs into the barbarian. The two blows deliver a good amount of damage, dropping him to "Yellow" but he does make his save vs. poison on the bite.

Umberto is up!

DO NOT Move to D3, focus my dodge bonus on NAGATHA and flurry of blows that should be, with bless and song, +2, +2, if that will help me hit ANyTHING, a critical hit would be great...could you make that happen?

Kinda. Actually Syvgar was sent to spy on Dreadlord Holt Burakhan, who is somehow linked to Xeron. Anyways....

Umberto - delivers a vicious blow to the nagatha (critical) for a very good amount of damage (droppin it to "yellow"), but then misses on the second attack.

Kelser - With a loud yell the barbarian enters rage (back up to "lime"), and smashes the nagatha with another blow of his greatclub, dropping it to "orange"

Tatyl - casts Melf's Acid Arrow on Xeron and it hits, doing a minimal amount of damage

Althalus is up!

Realizing his luck had run out, Althalus tries his best to get over to B3, climbing behind the statue and Tatyl. The effort of moving there will more than likely preclude an attack, but if possible, he will take a shot at the Nagatha.

So you want to castle? No problem.

Althalus - ducks through the crowd and around the statue to get into a better firing position. He draws back and fires an arrow, and thanks to the two blesses, his arrow is true, striking Xeron in the chest and dropping him to "yellow".

Syvgar - with a worried look on his face, he makes a wild (and horrible) attack on Umberto. It is no where near the monk.

Kregnok will swing on the injured nagatha

Kregnok - draws his weapon out and swings, just missing the nagatha.

Leera - continues singing.

Jeroog - winds up his greataxe and comes down hard at Kregnok. The blow hits and nearly knocks the dwarf to the ground with the amount of damage delivered, dropping Kregnok to "yellow".

Xeron - reaches into his pouch and pulls forth a potion which he drinks, it brings him back up to "lime".

Nagatha - the creature goes off on the barbarian, scoring two claw attacks and a bite, dropping him all the way to "red". As bad as he is, he did make his saving throw again.

Umberto is up!

The monk will tumble to E5 and take a swing on the Nagatha

Umberto - tumbles past Syvgar and pops up with a chop on the nagatha, but misses.

Kelser - delivers another crushing blow to the nagatha, sending it to the "red"

Taytl - gets another round of damage from the melf's acid arrow she cast last round. then she uses her wand of magic missiles and unleashes two charges of it on Xeron, who is now "yellow"
